Kapoor Glass wins prestigious SME award

Each year, 26th January represents India’s Republic Day which honours the date on which the Constitution of India was formed in 1950.

This day is a tribute to India, it’s diversity, and cultural heritage.

​

On 26th January 2018, Kapoor Glass (India) Pvt. Ltd. received the prestigious ‘SME Award’ by the local district in recognition of ‘Overseas Business Performance and Innovation’. The company received first prize from a group of 5000 SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprise) which was based on an audit of the manufacturing facility by a team of Government officials and technical experts in the field of automation.

The company was felicitated at the Republic Day parade and received the award by a Minister from the Maharashtra State Government.

Kapoor Glass breaks ground for new ampoule and vial forming facility

On 1st June, Kapoor Glass initiated the construction project for a facility extension as part of its capacity upgradation and factory modernization project. The ground-breaking ceremony was led by our Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor.

​

The construction is expected to be completed by Q4 ’18 will house additional high sped ampoule and vial manufacturing capacity and clean rooms for end of line inspection and packing. Equipment is being sourced from our strategic technology partners in Europe and Japan.

Kapoor Glass  invests in a new facility to expand production for Tubular Vials and Cartridges for Pen Systems

Kapoor Glass ventures on a new expansion with an additional new manufacturing facility dedicated to Tubular Vials and Cartridges for Pen systems. The new facility will meet demand from existing and new customers. The new facility will enter production in Q1 2021.
